팸투어 개최

Busan Foundation for International Cooperation and the Busan Metropolitan City, led ‘Busan Familiarization Tour’ to invite the heads of the Foreign Offices from central and south America and Africa  to Busan for two days; June 10 and 11. This familiarization tour was planned in order to establish practical coexistence and cooperation measures by finding various cooperative businesses with central and south America, and Africa, as the key exchange partners of the 8th popularly elected mayor of Busan,  who began his term this July.

부산국제교류재단은 부산시와 함께 6.10-11일 양일간 중남미와 아프리카지역국가의 주한외국공관장 등을 초청하여 ‘부산 팸투어’를 진행하였다. 이번 팸투어는 오는 7월 출범하는 민선 8기 부산시정의 중점 교류 파트너가 될 중남미, 아프리카와 다양한 협력사업을 발굴하는 등 실질적인 상생과 협력 방안을 만들어 내기 위해 기획되었다.

The main participants were 23 significant figures, such as the heads of the Foreign Offices from 15 countries in Busan (6 countries* from central and south America including Honduras and Peru, and 9 countries** from Africa including Zambia and Tunisia). They were invited to visit the future 2030 Busan World Expo sites as promotion of the brand of Busan, the global hub city.

*6 countries from the central and south America: Honduras, Peru, Columbia, Guatemala, Bolivia, Chile

**9 countries from Africa: Zambia, Senegal, sierra Leone, Tanzania, Algeria, Libya, Sudan, Morocco

주요 참가국은 온두라스 · 페루 등 중남미 6개국*, 잠비아 · 튀니지 등 아프리카 9개국** 등 총 15개국의 주한외국공관장 주요 인사 23명을 초청하여 2030부산세계박람회 예정지를 방문하는 등 2030부산세계박람회 유치를 위한 글로벌 허브 도시 부산의 핵심 브랜드를 알리는데 힘썼다.

**아프리카 9개국: 잠비아, 튀니지, 세네갈, 시에라리온, 탄자니아, 알제리, 리비아, 수단, 모로코

In the afternoon on June 10th (Fri.) there was a tour of 2030 Busan World Expo sites and the North Port Promotion Center, followed by ‘Foreign Officers in Busan-Financial Institutions in Busan Conference’ at Haeundae Paradise Hotel at 6 in the evening. The tour continued with yacht riding to enjoy the beautiful sea in Busan, and X the SKY, to view the scenic coastline and the whole city, then was finished with the farewell luncheon with the vice mayor of administrative affairs in Busan.

주요 일정으로는 10일(금) 오후에는 2030부산세계박람회 예정지와 북항홍보관 등을 둘러보고, 오후 6시에는 해운대 파라다이스 호텔에서 ‘주한외교단-부산소재 금융기관 간담회’가 열렸다. 11일(토)은 부산의 아름다운 바다를 체험할 수 있는 요트 승선 및 부산의 해안선과 도시를 전체 조망할 수 있는 엑스더스카이 관람 등 부산의 매력을 마음껏 느낄 수 있는 투어가 이어진 후, 부산시 행정부시장 주재 환송 오찬을 끝으로 모든 일정이 마무리 되었다.

BFIC revealed a resolution to keep working on practical cooperative businesses for Busan to grow into a global hub city, by establishing stable collaborative systems with the Foreign Offices in Korea thanks to positive cooperation of ambassadors from each country to promote  2030 Busan World Expo.

부산국제교류재단은 앞으로도 부산시와 함께 2030 부산세계박람회 유치를 위해서 각국 대사님들의 적극적인 협조를 바탕으로 주한 외국공관과의 유기적인 협력체계 구축으로 부산이 글로벌 허브도시로 거듭날 수 있도록 실질적인 협력사업을 발굴해 나가도록 노력할 것이라고 밝혔다.
