What is your plan for this weekend? If you have not decided yet, then consider a visit to Busan’s Igidae Park. Without a doubt, visiting Igidae Park is one of the best ways to refresh your mind and relieve the stress from your daily routine. It makes you forget for a while that you are in a big city. The park is more like a forest on the sea-side hill with many interesting hiking paths, suspended pedestrian bridges, plenty of fresh air and beautiful views. The place offers lovely Busan panoramas of Gwangan Bridge, Gwangalli Beach and Haeundae Beach. Igidae Park is located on the ocean side of the hill in Yongho 3-dong. To get there, it takes around 15 minutes by car from Kyungsung University and Pukyong National University subway station.

  The Igidae Park trail follows the coast and can be accessed from either the north or the south entrances by Oryukdo Park. The path is made for casual hikes and consists mostly of wooden walkways and stairs but some parts have tricky terrain with loose soil. The hanging pedestrian bridge surrounded by the green forest brought back childhood memories. I felt like a kid again and it cured a bit my longing for my hometown. The area is so clean and the facilities are well organized and maintained.

  Igidae Park can be a great option when spending time with family and friends. You can enjoy looking seawards for the breathtaking views or stop anytime you want to see the sea, sky and mountains in harmony. Do not forget to bring a meal as well.

Enjoying good food with a stunning view makes for an unforgettable experience. If you are thinking of going for a dip in the sea, it is unfortunately not possible. There are many warning signs everywhere prohibiting swimming.

  If you are a photographer who is hunting for a good place to see the sunrise, or if you just want to enjoy the sunrise with friends or family, Igidae Park is a great option. Before dawn, there are many people who bring their cameras, set up a tent and wait for the sunrise. Since Gwangan Bridge is visible, Igidae Park is also one of the best places from which to enjoy one of the most famous festivals in the city: "The Busan Fireworks Festival". It takes place annually in October along Gwangalli Beach.

  Sounds great, doesn't it? Igidae Park is worth visiting. I give it two thumbs up! So add it to your things-to-do list. Bring the family, friends and then capture your own memorable experience. Have fun and enjoy!

  이번 주말 무엇을 계획하고 있는가? 아무런 일정도 없다면 이기대 도시자연공원에 가 보자. 이기대는 일상에 지친 몸과 마음을 치유하는 최고의 장소 중 하나이다. 다양한 액티비티와 함께, 당신이 거대한 도시에 있다는 사실을 잊게 만들어줄 것이다. 이기대는 숲 속에 위치한 해안 언덕 같은 곳으로, 편하게 산책할 수 있는 다리와 다양한 트레킹 코스로 이루어져 있어 상쾌한 공기와 아름다운 경치를 마음껏 감상할 수 있다. 광안대교, 광안리, 해운대 등 아름다운 도시 경관도 감상할 수도 있어, 남녀노소를 불문하고 인기가 높다. 이기대는 용호 3동 남부하수처리장에서 언덕 하나를 넘어 위치하고 있다. 지하철 경성대 · 부경대역에서 차로 15분 정도 걸린다.

  이기대 산책로는 해안을 끼고 있는 나무로 만들어진 해안 산책로로, 양쪽 끝 어느 쪽에서 시작하든 편하게 걸을 수 있다. 전반적으로는 평탄한 코스로 이루어져 있으나 흙 때문에 걷기 조금 힘든 구역도 있다. 푸른 숲을 따라 산책로를 걷다 보면 어린 시절 즐거운 기억이 새록새록 되살아난다. 고향에 대한 그리움도 어느 정도 위로 받은 기분이 든다. 이기대는 깨끗하게 잘 보존되어 있는 데다 시설물도 정비 되어 있어서 무척 만족스럽다. 잊지 못할 경험을 하고 싶을 때에는 광안리부터 걸어오는 편이 좋다. 입구까지 트레킹 코스, 낚시터, 아름다운 풍경 등을 볼 수 있기 때문이다.

  이기대 공원은 친구나 가족과 함께 시간을 보내기 좋은 곳이기도 하다. 숨이 턱 멎을 만큼 아름다운 바다를 바라보며 언제든 멈춰 서서 함께 어우러지는 하늘과 산을 즐길 수 있다. 맛있는 음식을 챙겨 오는 것도 잊지 말아야 한다. 맛있는 음식을 먹으면서 환상적인 경치를 즐기는 것은 잊지 못할 경험이 될 것이다. 해안가 산책은 그 자체로도 즐겁지만, 내륙 코스나 해안을 빙 두르는 코스를 걸을 때는 거대한 바위들을 조심해야 한다. 안타깝게도 물에 살짝 몸을 담그거나 수영을 할 수는 없다. 곳곳에 수영 금지 경고판들이 서 있기 때문이다.

  일출을 촬영하고 싶은 포토그래퍼나 친구, 가족과 일출을 구경하고 싶은 사람들에게 이기대 도시자연공원은 꼭 한 번 들려야 할 최고의 일출 장소다. 새벽이 밝아올 무렵이면 카메라를 든 사람들이 텐트를 치고 모여 일출을 기다린다. 이기대에서 정면을 바라보면 멋진 광안대교가 보인다. 덕분에 이곳은 부산에서 가장 유명한 축제 중 하나로 광안리에서 1년에 한 번 개최되는 부산불꽃축제를 즐길 수 있는 장소이기도 하다.

  이번 주말, 별 계획이 없다면 이기대로 가 보자. 가족이나 친구와 함께 잊지 못할 추억을 남길 수 있을 것이다. 신나게 즐기시기를!
