부산국제교류재단, 코로나 19 방역 지원 행정안전부 표창 수상

BFIC was awarded the Ministry of the Interior and Safety prize for contribution to the Covid-19 prevention and national disaster control. Busan Metropolitan City and BFIC take part in Covid-19 prevention since February 2020, when the virus started to spread nationwide.

부산국제교류재단이 코로나19 방역에 적극 참여하여 국가재난관리에 기여한 공을 인정받아 행정안전부 장관표창을 수상했다. 부산시와 재단은 코로나19가 전국적 확산을 시작한 20년 2월부터 코로나19 지역 확산 저지를 위해 나섰다.

To offer better communication system for the foreigners entering Korea through Busan, Busan Metropolitan City and BFIC have provided interpretation service with quarantine guidelines and supported them to get prompt Covid-19 tests. Interpreters(English, Chinese, Vietnamese) were dispatched to Busan Station from April 2020 to March 2021 when the covid crisis got serious. The interpreters helped foreigners entering Busan by guiding them to the train platforms, translating for filling in passenger and medical checkup lists, Covid-19 tests, etc. Moreover, all the information about the confirmed cases and their route provided by Busan Metropolitan City in Korean, English, Chinese, Vietnamese, Indonesian and Russian has been updated on the BFIC website(www.bfic.kr) and SNS every day.

부산시와 재단은 코로나19 방역 현장의 언어소통 문제해결, 자가격리 정보 등 제공, 신속한 코로나 진단 검사 지원으로 촘촘한 방역이 가능하도록 부산 입국 외국인을 대상으로 통역을 지원했다. 코로나 확산이 심해진 20년 4월부터 올해 3월까지 통역 인력(영어, 중국어, 베트남어)을 부산역에 파견했다. 통역 인력들은 기차플랫폼 인솔, 명단 및 선별진료소 문진표 작성 통번역 지원, 진단검사 안내 등 부산 입국 외국인 들을 도왔다. 또한, 부산시에서 제공하는 확진자 이동동선 및 정보를 한국어, 영어, 중국어, 베트남어, 인도네시아어, 러시아어 등 6개 언어로 매일 재단 홈페이지(www.bfic.kr) 및 SNS에 업데이트해 왔다.

Until the covid era is finially over and we can return to our daily lives as before, BFIC will take the lead to provide the latest information for the safety of Busan citizens and foreign residents in Busan and continue to make efforts of virus prevention. 

재단은 코로나19를 극복하고 일상으로 돌아갈 수 있을 때까지 부산시민들과 부산 거주 외국인 주민들의 안전을 위해 지속적으로 방역 관련 정보를 발 빠르게 전달하고 방역에 앞장설 예정이다.
